Margaret Mackert Named Digicon Director of Contracts/Legal

HERNDON, VA, October 20, 2011 – Digicon Corporation, an Information Technology service provider in the nation’s capital, announced that Margaret Mackert was recently promoted to Director of Contracts/Legal.

Since coming to Digicon in 2009, Ms. Mackert has overseen contracts activities, and her role has been expanded to include the duties of corporate counsel. In this capacity, Ms. Mackert is responsible for providing in-house legal advice and risk management, overseeing outside legal services, and ensuring sound corporate governance.

Ms. Mackert has an impressive background in handling contract and corporate matters, with over seventeen years of experience in law and finance. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law, and her bar memberships include the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court, District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.
